B&B Bookings

  1. Bookings are accepted on condition that reasonable care is taken of the property and contents. The property should be left in the condition that it was found otherwise a cleaning charge will be deducted from the deposit. All damages and breakages are the guest’s responsibility. A refundable cleaning/damage deposit of £50 should be paid with the balance of the booking fees 7 days prior to arrival.
  2. A non-refundable 20% deposit of the total cost must be received within 7 days of booking and the balance must be paid 7 days before the start of the holiday.
  3. The Lodge is for a maximum of 6 persons unless agreed in writing with us.
  4. No liability is accepted for any loss, damage, sickness or injury however caused which may be sustained during the holiday to the guest or any member of the party, or invited persons, or any car or its contents, or any possession of the guest or any member of the party.
  5. All rooms are no smoking.
  6. Bedlinen and towels included.
  7. Arrival is after 3pm and departure is by 10am.

Gite Bookings

  1. Bookings are accepted for 7 nights from Saturday - Saturday
  2. Check-in is between 16h00 and 20h00, guests are requested to vacate the gite before 10h00 on the day of departure.
  3. A 25 % non-refundable deposit is required to confirm the booking, the balance is due four weeks before arrival.
  4. Upon arrival, a security deposit of 150 € is to be paid. This deposit is repayable on departure if the property is left clean and in good condition.

General Booking Conditions

  1. These booking conditions (the “Booking Conditions”) are between the property owner  and the client/ holidaymaker(s) who book the property “gite Petite Fleur”. References to “the client” are references to the person making the booking (“Booking”) and all members of the holiday party.  
    Any Booking is subject to the conditions below. These Booking Conditions form the basis of the contract so please read them carefully.  Nothing in these Booking Conditions affects your normal statutory rights.
  2. The duration of the stay shall be as per the booking agreement. The gite will be available from 16h00 on the day of arrival and guests agree to vacate the gite by 10h00 on the day of departure. The owner shall not be obliged to offer the accommodation before the time stated and the client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated.
    If the client fails to arrive by midday on the day after the Arrival Date and the owner has not been informed of the anticipated late arrival, he may treat the Booking as having been cancelled by the client and shall be under no obligation to refund fees already paid.
  3. The booking becomes effective upon receipt by the owner of the signed contract and the non-returnable 25 % deposit of the agreed rental fee.
  4. The balance of the rental fee is payable four weeks in advance of arrival.
  5. A booking made less than four weeks in advance is payable in full upon booking.
  6. Cancellation by the client.
    Any cancellation must be notified by letter or email to the owner. We recommend that guests obtain travel insurance for cancellation, accident, medical, loss of personal property.
    a) For any cancellation of less than 30 days notice the total charge remains payable
    b) For any cancellation of between 30 and 60 days the deposit of 25% remains payable
    c) For any cancellation of more than 60 days no charges apply
    In case of a split payment, the booking deposit is always non-refundable.
  7. Cancellation by the owner.
    The owner would not expect to have to make any changes to a booking, but sometimes problems occur and we do have to make alterations, or, very occasionally cancel bookings.
    If this does happen, the owner will contact the client as soon as is reasonable practical and inform him of the cancellation or the change to the booking. If the booking has to be cancelled, any fees already paid to the owner will be refunded. However, the owner will not be liable to refund the client for any fees he may have paid to any third party in connection with the holiday (including, without limitation, fees for travel, entertainment, activities or insurance).
  8. The gite is a strict non-smoking property. The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and take good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the and of the rental period. Although a final clean is included in the rate, the owner reserves the right to make a retention from the security deposit to cover additional cleaning charges or breakages if the client leaves the property in an unacceptable condition.
  9. Upon arrival, the client shall pay a damage and security deposit of 150 €. This deposit may be used for any repair and/ or replacement of the property, furnishings, fixtures and fittings that are necessary after your stay. It is repayable on departure if the property is left in good condition.
  10. Bed linen and bathroom towels are provided and changed weekly. Towels and bed linen should not be removed from the gite.
  11. The client will ensure the peaceful character of the environment and make use of the facilities with respect for the local environment and residents in neighbouring properties. In the event of any serious breach of this clause, the owner reserves the right to ask the client to vacate the premises immediately and not refund will be made.
  12. The swimming pool is non supervised and shared with the owners and guests of the guesthouse. Access is only granted to the client and members of his family/ party stated in the contract. A “decharge” for using the swimming pool will be provided on arrival, to be signed by the client on behalf of his family/ party. In the event of a serious breach of the rules, the owner reserves the right to withdraw the use of the pool. Use of the pool is entirely at the clients own risk.
  13. The contract is signed for a maximum of five guests. If the number exceeds this capacity, the owner reserves the right to refuse the additional guests. Pets are only allowed in the property if the owner has agreed.
  14. The client shall report to the owner without delay any defects or damage in the property or breakdown in the equipment, plant or appliances. Arrangements for repair and/ or replacement will be made as soon as possible.
    It is essential that the owner is contacted if any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. It is often extremely difficult (and sometimes impossible) to resolve difficulties properly unless they have been promptly reported. The client agrees to allow the owner or any representative to access the property at any reasonable time during the stay for the purpose of essential repairs or in an emergency.
  15. The owner shall not be liable to the client for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of Public Services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment, machinery or appliance in the property. Nor for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes of other matters beyond control of the owner.
    The maximum liability for losses the client suffers as a result of the owner acting in breach of these terms and conditions is strictly limited to the total fees the client has paid for the Booking.
